I use a person centered approach together with techniques that may include talking, walking, creative activities, mindfulness, movement and breathing that are dependent on your individuality and personal needs. I work holistically to incorporate mind, body and spirit by working with you as a whole person, to help you envision you and be the best creation of you.

Your mental health well-being is my priority. I work from a trauma informed lens. That simply means being sensitive to the impact of trauma, understanding and utilising tools to help you support yourself to regulate during times of stress.
Together we can identify and I will support you with the change needed to reduce re-traumatisation.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. These emotions can leave you feeling overwhelmed and affect your everyday activities.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated from painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. You will be provided with the opportunity to discuss your experience with empathy and support. Individual strategies will be developed to assist you with ongoing difficulties that result from unpleasant experiences.
Loss of a loved one, pet or even loss of an important aspect in your life can be unbearable.
You will receive compassion and empathy as you may experience different emotions that you may have not experienced previously. Helping you understand the processes of grief is an important aspect to healing. If grief and loss is stopping you from everyday life the aim is to not 'cure' you but to assist in moving forward.
Life transitions can be complex and challenging. Puberty, motherhood, menopause, career change, parent of LGBTIQ+ child and many others - they can all put you in a spin. By pulling apart what the issue is and working through it together can be rewarding or even a realisation that changes need to be made.
Online counselling sessions are held from the safety of your own home or space. All you need is a phone or computer to access, be somewhere private and safe without distractions. It is convenient for you to balance life around counselling sessions. Online counselling has been proven just as effective as face to face.
Walk and Talk Counselling incorporates walking outdoors, and is proven to be as effective as traditional talk therapy whilst talking about issues. It promotes physical and mental wellbeing. Being outdoors can reduce depression and anxiety. It allows you to reconnect with nature. The pace will be set by you and can be very gentle or moderate (so long as we can both chat whilst walking!) We can stop and sit for awhile as well.
My goal is to help women and teenage girls to grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
